BIO & AWARDS

My name is Luísa Parnes. I lived in the United States as a child, while my parents were pursuing their PhDs. I returned to Brazil at age 7. I graduated Law School in Brazil in 2008 but never practiced a day in my life. I have since worked exclusively with film and television, more specifically in content development, through a company I co-own in Rio de Janeiro. ln 2010, I moved to New York, after being the only International Student accepted into the MFA program for Dramatic Writing at Tisch School of The Arts/NYU.

I now live permanently in New York with my husband, my baby daughter, my White German Shephard and my Jack Russel Mix.
